The Odes of Horace  and the  alchemical powers  of Frederick II

From the regional capital  Potenza , we moveon towards Venosa, a town famous as being the birthplace of the great Latin poet , Horace.

This area  takes us  through a land studded with the fortified Swabian castles of Fredirick II.
